Get Pro — ₹2,990/yearHow text translation works
Text translation turns writing in one language into writing in another. hearlog goes one step further: paste any text and it produces an AI summary first, then translates the whole thing into any of 50+ languages — so you get both the meaning and the key points, saved together.
Example · Pro
Keep your notices in one folder and ask them all one question
"Which of my saved notices have a deadline this month?"
Example answer: "Two do — property tax by 30 November (Source: Nagar nigam notice) and the school fee form by 20 November (Source: School circular, Class 7)."
That extra step matters most for exactly the text Indians deal with daily. A three-paragraph WhatsApp message from a parent, a two-page government circular, a dense legal clause — a plain translation gives you the words but still leaves you to work out what is being asked. A summary alongside the translation tells you the point and any deadline in a line or two.
It handles the way India actually writes, too — including Hinglish and other code-mixed text, where Hindi and English sit in the same sentence. You can paste text in any script (Devanagari, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali) and translate out to English, or the other way around.
hearlog is built by USD Vision AI and powered by Google Gemini AI. The free plan covers 5,000 characters per translation; hearlog Pro raises that to 50,000 for long documents and research papers.

Which Indian languages does it support?

Can I translate WhatsApp messages?

What is the character limit?
The free plan supports up to 5,000 characters per translation — enough for most WhatsApp messages, emails and short documents. hearlog Pro at ₹299 per month or $6.99 per month increases the limit to 50,000 characters, covering long legal documents, research papers and full articles.
Can I get a summary of the translated text?
Yes. When you paste text, hearlog writes an AI summary alongside it. Choose key points for a quick overview, detailed for fuller notes, or concise for a brief recap. The original text, the summary and the translation are saved together in one note you can come back to.
Can I translate text from a photo or a PDF?
Yes, on Pro. hearlog Pro pulls the text out of a photo (a WhatsApp image of a notice, for example), a PDF or a YouTube video, then lets you translate and summarise it like pasted text. On the free plan you can paste text you have copied yourself.
Can I save the translation as a note?
Yes. Click Save Note and the original text, translation and AI summary are saved together in your free hearlog account, where you can search across all your notes. On Pro you can also ask questions across your saved notes and get answers with the note they came from.
Does it work for legal documents and government notices?
Yes. Paste the text from a legal document, government circular or official notice and get a plain-language summary plus translation. Always verify important legal content against the original document. hearlog provides a translation aid, not a certified legal translation service.
